Family Faith

 SOLD
This is a special commissioned work for my friend Korey. He said it was ok to show on the web. This was done with all acrylics on a canvas covered hardboard. 16x20 size will make it easy to frame. And like all my paintings, covered in a layer of polyurethane for protection.

Beautiful House

NOT FOR SALE
This is a commissioned painting of a friend's house. Unfortunately, this painting could never do justice to the true beauty of the actual house! This painting was done on a custom made, canvas wrapped hard board. A unique size of 15" x 24" will require custom framing, but that is not necessary since the edges are painted. I only used high quality 100% acrylic artist paints and a high quality acrylic polyurethane for a clear coat. I hope they like it. This is, by far, the hardest painting I have ever done.

The Dancer - Finally finished!!!

FOR SALE!
Here is my latest painting.  The Dancer!  I found this picture on Flickr with a license that allowed me to paint.  The only thing I have painted is the dancer.  I left out all the junk in the background.  This painting is done on canvas stretched over a hard board.  It is 24" wide by 36" tall and 2" thick.
This painting has taken a long time for me to finish.  There were countless changes and corrections, but now it is for sale.  The Dancer is on display at the Standing Rock Cultural Arts gallery in Kent, Ohio.  Asking price is $250.

Update!! The vet likes the painting!!!

This is what they had to say later in the day. . .
Gary and Family, we love the painting (and the story behind it) and it has been hung in the hallway leading to the exam rooms. We have already had many comments on how beautiful it is! Gary, you have a true talent. Thank you for sharing it.

Not For Sale

Abby Reading to Maisy. This is from a photo I took. Maisy was sick and Abby thought she might feel better if someone read a story to her. Turns out Maisy ate part of a dog toy and it got lodged in her intestines. She needed surgery, but we couldn't afford it. We had to put her to sleep, but the vet wouldn't go for that. The vet did the surgery for free so I promised the vet a painting. This is the finished product. I have been working on it so long that all I see is a mess. Hopefully they will like it. I hope.
The painting is 23x28 on a canvas covered wood panel I made. It will last forever!

Plain Ole' Red House

SOLD

I really wanted this painting to be plain.  I think it is.  When you look at this painting I want you to just feel relaxed.  The picture is just simple and calm.  The grass tends to add a little business, but not too much.  The red house is from a simpler time.  Here is a link to the actual house that this painting is based upon.  http://www.rochesterhills.org/city_services/museum/featured_attractions/1850_red_house.asp

Lonely Church

Sorry, this one is not for sale.  I have decided to keep this one for myself. :)
I really can't seem to make this painting to where I am pleased with it.  Here it is, the Lonely Church.
